anybody her ever replace the sway bar bushings, mine is 1 inch and only has 4 bushings. The bar is tucked under the torsion bar cross member(two square bushings) and runs up the radius arm and terminates with tombstone bushings. here is a pic of the ones under the C clamp.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
I've replaced mine. Mine are a little bit different since it's a 93 with TTB front end. But antisway bar is antisway bar.

So do you have a real question about it? Or just curious about whether or not anyone in the history of Ford Rangers has ever replaced these wear items?

The auto parts stores(online to) want to sell me part that don't exist on this truck. My sway bar doesn't have links. all the kits have bushings for what i call links. And yes i want to know everybody that has replaced them in the history of ford ranger.

We really don't need to be like that...

I'm not totally familiar with what you describe... pictures always help. Maybe it is an aftermarket sway bar?

No its not a after market sway bar. The ones on the bar are square (1 Inch). Seems the local auto parts store don't go back to 1987. Back to the search.

Try to see if anything else will replace the "older" set-up you have. Or see if anything from a different vehicle will fit. Run the Part #'s through Rock Auto. See what comes up

Used some old tech data from ford and the 1987-89 ranger used the same as the F150, "no end links". I ordered them from Prothane (6-1107). waiting again.

When I first saw the first pic it reminded me of the old fashioned wall mounted bottle opener before twist-offs were invented.
