Hello all. My grandpa has a 1994 Ford Ranger. The bracket that holds the bushing for the sway bar is shot. Does anyone know where I can get a new bracket? I can't find it anywhere.

Mazda ZZL434155 claims to still be available, but I've never actually tried to buy Mazda-side parts myself.

EDIT: So this is the fourth time I've thought about trying to buy cross-make parts for an older truck. I finally placed an order for 3 different parts I could use, also for a '94. Just received an e-mail that they're actually unavailable. Not officially discontinued, but "out of stock, backordered, with no expected availability date", which is the same thing.

I was hoping there might at least be some NOS in the Mazda dealer/reseller network, but at this point I wouldn't be surprised if any given Mazda-side part for our trucks is actually unavailable, and Ford is just better at marking things NLA.

i would probably think about also getting a new sway bar. that one looks to be forming exfoliation corrosion just inboard of hte sway bushing area.

Probably not a bad idea honestly. I know they made these in 3/4 and 1 inch and when I measured it, it came out to be about .95. So it definitely has some wear...

There are a couple different versions of that part too so be careful.
