'95 2WD here. I have a bit of squeaking in the front suspension. Shocks, springs, tie rods, ball joints, and sway bar links have all been replaced recently. Still have a bit of noise. I'm thinking it's some of the rubber bushings. Anyone know which ones I should try lubing and what to use to lube them? Thanks!

You should use non petroleum grease on rubber bushings. Aka silicone, lithium, or teflon. If there's no grease fittings you can use silicone spray lubricant and just squirt it in the joints the best you can.

Make sure if you can you throw some grease at your new tie rods and ball joints, they don't usually get a whole lot from the factory.

Easier said than done these days. Especially if you're buying OEM spec parts.

When OEM specs declined to the point of “lubricated for life”, I went to Moog. There’s been complaints about Moog lately but “ You pays your money and you takes your chance.” 🙏

Even some moog parts don't have zerks. The one piece upper control arm/ball joint assemblies on my 09 are moog and have no zerks. They would rather you buy new parts than to service them regularly.

"Lubed for life" just means it's lubed for the life of the part even if that life is only 6 months. :icon_rofl:

I bought the ones without zerks since I've never had any problems with them and they are cheaper. Sold a car with 130k miles with original ball joints. My other car has 60k miles and also original.

If they go bad I'll replace with the Moog. Replacing the ball joints on he 2WD is super easy. Takes me about an hour per side.

I'll try some silicone spray on the rubber bushinga. Hopefully that will quiet it down. Thanks for the advice!

You might want to use a needle tip on a grease gun and fill the boot with grease, when I did my ‘07 it took 7 pumps to fill it.
