We have extra taxes on our gasoline in order to "fix" the roads. We'll never get that low if it does, the State will just tack on more taxes to "fix" the roads.

Florida's Turnpike (toll roads) helps pay for all road construction in the state. As far as I know, there is no Road tax here. But I'm sure there are some taxes I pay without even knowing it.
