what ranger body parts would it take to "fit" on a 91-94 explorer frame? I noticed when Marceh put a ranger body on his B2, he needed a custom bed. Is there any combo of Gen2 ranger pieces that will fit a 91-94 explorer frame?:icon_confused:

Probably not, the ranger's frame is much narrower in the rear then the explorers.

I wasn't sure how many similarities there we're between the two. I should park my explorer up with a ranger and take a few measurements. It would obviously be a full custom build years from now, but the wheels are turning...

I've always loved gen 2 rangers. My first RBV was a gen 2 ranger. I want another, but my explorer's body is immaculate. It would be a crying shame to hurt it just to have a gen 2 ranger body.

Here is a thought.... Would a gen 2 ranger cab be bolt on?

That would make me cry. My first RBV was a 91 long bed... If a reg cab and a slightly modded bed would fit, that would be my dream.
