They are waiting on a tow.

anyway, they were arranging a tow to get it fixed in Cheboygan.
hopefully their drama is taken care of by now.

Was stationed in the UP, all the bars up there are family bars. Froze my arz many nights below -75f on the flightline with a field jacket , fatigues and combat boots during the winter of 75-76 when the Edmund Fitzgerald went in. The Soo girls were off limits. Hope you can snag the ranger.

the wiffie and I were touring 'da Yoo Pee.
when it was time for Mee Pee they were in the rest area with the hood up.
after talking to them for 'bout a half hour the wiffie was Peed off.

on a side note, if you want to go past the official end of U.S. route 41 take a good local map.
also the new visitor center at Seney is not finished yet. the marsh drive is still open.

he had already located a shop in Cheboygan that would take the job and was talking to someone about the 2 hour tow.
she, (his she, not my she) had called to reserve a car rental.
they were handling the situation OK. he was familiar with The Ranger Station but hadn't been online for years.

i had to google. the guy next to me told me UP is upper peninsula but he said he thought that would be on the other peninsula, the higher one.
