Alright, so in my 91 I want to take the factory wheel off and put on an after market one, I have cruise control now, is there a way that I could rewire the buttons and still have all of them work, just put them somwhere else other than the wheel? I know that I can get a horn button to go in the center of the wheel so I'm not too concerned about that, I just want to know if it could be rewired. Also, how many splines is the column, I think I have the right adapter for it but I'm not sure, like how many "teeth" does it have and I can count the grooves on mine.

It's possible to relocate the buttons. Wouldn't be all that hard. Just find the wires, pull them out of the harness, and run them somewhere else.
