Might be a dumb question but I've seen a few aftermarket steering linkage set ups for ttb, none really to my liking.

So the question is: "Has anyone looked into or done a swap using the linkage from a wrangler or Cherokee?"

They look to be the same length, just the pivot point to the driver side is located further done, closer matching the pivot point of the driver beam.

My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
I haven’t heard of anyone doing that. The best commercial solution I know of is the k-link setup from Superlift. But that seems to be discontinued for the Ranger. Someone here did an awesome job of creating a more robust version of that a few years ago. More recently, one or more people have been doing an electric steering conversion.

I’m at work and don’t currently have time to search out those threads for you.

My credo
If you don't have time to do it right will you have time to do it over?
Putting Rambler/Fiat/Jeep parts on a Ford is not an upgrade.

Ok cool. Never heard of an electric steering before.

My 2010 Fit had electric power steering. Never had to worry about power steering fluid, and it was quite sensitive (and felt lighter than any vehicle I've driven with hydraulic power steering).

Yeah it has been around for quite a while. Our 2015 escape has electric p/s, and it is quite touchy and responsive.
