Chevy tie rod ends flipped over the knuckle. Heims suck. They get sloppy after a year or so.

more then 30k miles? do you drive it all winter in the salt infested hiways?

not a fan of heims myself.. but they can work well enough with mid duty abuse.... unless they are stacked...then its just a matter of time before they suck.

my first choice is 1 ton tierods on hi steer....from there flipped like mentioned.

using tapered stems to mount them keeps em pretty good the longst ime though, so there are workable solutions....just not available at any parts store like tre.

I have over 20k on them and they did see winter roads for 2 winters and Iowa does use salt on their roads. I just don't think they are as bad as everyone thinks they are, and to get replacement u can most likely get them over nighted and if u look around their is mostly a offroad store close to ya, I have one about a hour away that I can get parts from. I was giving my experience with what I have.

i dont doubt you, but i have used them in many gm and ford sas scenarios and jeep "upgrades".

when drilling out and single bolting they get fawked up in shithole detroit in short order on year round daily drivers. if you clean and seal em constantly with dry lube/sealer you can go a good ways. but its the drilled out cast on the knuckle that gets wallered out that is the main issue...not super sloppy socket on the heim..

not for me. i have several off road shops with in 1-2 hrs, and nobody stocks shit on the shelf in this world these days.

but, like i mentioned if your using the tapered mount studs, you get much better service over through drilling and straight bolting to the knuckles.
