Hello I have an 86 ranger with a 302 swap, sas, and a tilt column I’m replacing my steering box and during so the steering shaft that runs through the column decided it wanted to come out to can/how could I return it to it’s rightful home? (I’m pretty sure my steering shaft set up isn’t stock as it has U joints and a different connection to the steering box for stock) thanks in advance!

My credo
If it ain't broke, break it.
It would have been more useful to post pix of your steering setup.
