Anyone mounted horns on the hood/bumper? Probably not as fitting on a Ranger than on an El Dorado, but I don’t have one of those.

I would never dream of disrespecting my Ranger in such a way :p

For it to stay mounted you will need to drill holes. Then you need to consider weather and elements and how fast it deteriorates. It may look good for a year or two, but after that....

I figure, if I did it, I’d fabricate a mounting bracket to bolt to something. Holes in stuff is certainly not worth it. I haven’t considered it hard enough to worry about sun deterioration. I do wonder how a horn would stand up to sun exposure. Bones seem to do fairly well.

1993 to 1997 Ranger hood is $99.95 from LMC Truck so not an expensive part to replace :)

Maybe buy one of those or from a wrecking yard and use that for the horns and save your stock hood

I had the hood release on my explorer get rusted out and had to drill a hole in the hood to get it released. Ended up covering it with a set of cow horns. Might even have a picture somewhere

My credo
If you don't have time to do it right will you have time to do it over?
