I'm building a 1925 T Bucket I want to install a 2005 ford 2.3, with a C4 trans. Can I make or buy a stand alone wiring system for that engine? The reason I want to use a C4 is because it is simple a hardy.

If it were me, I'd give Ron Francis a call and ask about one of their three different 2.3 turbo harnesses. You could also contact Stinger Performance. The Ron Francis Telorvek system makes for a nice and clean install with all new connectors and wire, which would help eliminate any gremlins from an older factory harness.

You'll need to know some more about your year of engine and transmission though. Like if it's sequential fire efi, where any speed signal comes from, etc..

You could also look in to a Megasquirt system, but that will bring you in to the tuning side of things a LOT more, which if you plan to add any power adders in the future, would be a nice option to have, but the learning curve will seem overwhelming at first. You'll need a LOT of assistance from various forums to get that tuning figured out.

Or you could look in to converting it over to a carb, which would match the 1925 t-bucket theme a lot better..

Not sure where to buy the stand alone harness, but you will want the harness and ecu from a MANUAL transmission even though you are using a auto. The automatic transmission that would be behind that engine is computer controlled and ties into a bunch of the engine sensors. the c4 you want to use is not and as far as the computer is concerned might just as well be a manual.
