I'm not interested in the Ranger anymore, I'm interested in the F-100 concept.

The F-150 is too big and heavy to get more than 19 mpg overall. It needs to lose around a thousand pounds to be the right weight (i.e. from ~5000 lbs to ~4000). To get close to Ranger mileage with the 3.7 it'll need that F-100 lightening.

How long will this take is my question. I'm hoping they debut the F-100 for 2012 model year, or early 2013 debut at the earliest. And they really need to, or else really shrink the F-150 by several inches.

I know this sucks but the Ranger ship has pretty much sailed. We need to realize that Ford's going to take the cheapest, most profitable route possible. That route happens to be shrinking the F-150 a bit.

Maybee I need to see one in person but theres something that I just dont like. Almost like its more Japanese and less like a tuff little truck-just dunno. But I do like the ideas of a T.D. coming to the states, as soon as there here I'm trading in my truck.
