So before I get flamed, I DID search. A lot. On several forums. I found a lot of speedometer discussions, but none that covered this issue.
My speedometer and odometer stopped working. The issue is definitely in the cluster. Swapped the cluster with a spare and it works perfectly. So obviously it's a cluster issue. Problem is, the spare I found added A LOT of miles to the odometer. Like nearly double. From 106k to 192k.
Does anyone know what could cause this to happen? Better yet, does anyone know the fix for this? Could cluster bulbs going out cause this? Do they complete a circuit or something? This is the last known electrical issue on the truck.
Appreciate the help, guys.
