If your truck has speed control.

I think the non speed control trucks only have two wires for the horn, the speed control trucks have a third wire for the speed control amplifier signal.

I retrofitted speed control to my '85 a few years ago, granted it is carbed but it was pretty straightforward.

The harness that goes up to the steering wheel is a short one and it plugs into a harness that needs added if you are adding cruise.

Thanks for the info. I think I have the stuff from a donor car except for the steering wheel.
