Well I found and fixed the problem. Some kind of vacuum line sensor, had its connector sitting on the exhaust manifold, well it melted the connector and caused a short, which I just fixed by cutting and covering the end of the wire. I’m definitely gonna try and find a distributor for the conversion, but hopefully this will buy me some more time😂

I wonder how that happened? It's not like there is a ton of wiring under the hood on those engines :). What a mess.
