Hey guys,
I have a wiring/rattle sound coming from the bell-housing (2.9 into a Mitsubishi trans). It is most notable at idle and I think it goes away when I drive (could be I just cant hear it). Pushing in the clutch doesn't change things, I can still hear it. Ideas? My first thought is loose flywheel. It couldn't be the input shaft bearing, right? That would only make noise with clutch engaged.
