SOLVED: Transfer case end spraying fluid on undercarriage?

Hey there. 1990 Bii project trying to get to body restore but I'm having 4x4 and apparently transfer case end issue.
If you check the attached photo, it appears that I have a leak at what I assume is the rubber piece and it's spraying my undercarriage something fierce.
Any idea what the part is that I need to fix this thing up?

That looks like a grease boot for the driveline. With the grease spinning out you will need a new boot.

You wouldnt regret swapping that out for a universal joint shaft.

I'll do it! Do you know a part number or comparable so I can get an idea of what to order? I'm having a hard time finding a boot

Rock Auto had replacement shafts. I would check there.

You need a flange to flange driveshaft. They have been making replacement shafts for your style for a while now.

Measure your current one, as long as the length is the same the one you linked will work.

I bought mine from Jeffs I think, cant remeber. I took out the cv shaft and put the u-joint one in in about 10 minutes.

I Have mine on order! Should be here Friday or Saturday! Will update after install. I think this was causing my shutter/rear end vibration when I would step on the gas to get up to speed quickly or to power up a hill from a standstill. Fingers crossed.

Oh yeah, mu cv shaft shuttered under load. New shaft worked wonders. Plus consider that every busing in that truck probably shot. Leaf spring bushings, sway bar bushings, bidy mounts, etc.

Hey I got my new Rear driveshaft! I'm having trouble removing the bolts with a breaker. I've put a lot of force on them. I have it battery negative disconnected, lifted and in neutral(haynes) but I cannot break those bolts loose. I sprayed them with PB blaster and will come back and crank them again. However I am having a good amount of play in the shaft when I try to remove the bolts. Any idea how to break em loose?

Should I try to break them loose while it's still on the ground and in park so I have less play in the shaft or will that even make much of a difference?

And I'll definitely get on the bushings! It's noisy so I'll do those and the shocks and coil springs hopefully soon. Hopefully my leafs are good.

Leave it in park to keep the shaft fixed.

Also heat is your friend. You are fighting factory lock tite on those bolts.

I'm thinking i need to bust out the torch.. must have some loctite holding them
