About a Year ago, The clutch pedal on my 92 had sunk all the way to floor.

I put in a new master cylinder, and the pedal came back up.

1st question, The hose that goes to the slave, Is it supposed to have an o-ring on it? Does anyone have a picture of said o-ring.

2nd question, Where is the bleeder valve on the trans.

3rd question, How hard is this whole bleeding thing to do? Would i be better off sending it to the shop for bleeding?

-Thanks. Schwinny. :icon_thumby:

There is supposed to be an o-ring on the transmission end of that hose. I can't remember if there was one on the master cyl. side. The bleeder is right above that hose on the side of the transmission coming through the bellhousing. And for you're last question bleeding it can be a pain but if you do a quick search on it you'll find all the information you need.

Thats a cool video, Do i have to drop my tranny in order to bench bleed?

Cause that would definatly be cool, if i could do it this easy.

How about reverse bleeding? Pumping fluid through the bleeder valve.

the problem is at the master cyl and the annoying air bubbles that live at the end of the piston therein. I haven't seen a lot of success with pressure reverse bleeding.

Take the master cyl off the firewall and turn it upside down while bleeding to get that air out.

There is a special tool to take the hose off the slave. You should be able to get it at any parts store for only a few dollars. Looks like this:

The connection comes through the bell housing so it's all done from the outside, no need to remove anything.
