slow windows

so i have a 1996 super cab and both the drivers and passanger side power windows are slower then slow can be on the way up. i cant figure out what is wrong. anyone have this problem before

Try lubing the window tacks with some silicone spray, it helps alot of the time.

if that doesn't help check out the wiring for voltage drop. if theres corrosion in a switch/wire it'l do that too

I have this problem in my '96 too. The passenger side is so slow it doesn't look like it's going to make it. I thought it was the motor and replaced it. Still the same. I haven't attempted to do anything else for it as of yet. I figured I'd lube it. Never thought of voltage drop.
