so, im in the middle of playing body work butcher with the front end on my 1996 XL.
Truck hit a deer at some point hard enough to take out the bumper, header panel, grill, rad support, hood, and a fender.
Have the front clip from my 2001 parts truck sitting here in rust free condition.
Just looking for advice on the bumper mounts... frame horn on drivers side of the 1996 is bent. Plan as of now is to splice in the front frame horns of the 2001 so that i can hang its front clip, and replace the 1996 core support with a new one for a 2001.
Looking for advice on best places to cut and splice.
2001 is green with tow hooks, 1996 is tan.
