this is on a 1995 F150 with the M5OD. Some times the truck will shift fine. Other times I have the clutch to the floor and have to shove it to go into 1st gear. I can push the clutch pedal down about 3 inches with truck in gear before the clutch slips. Releasing the clutch it engages about 3 inches off the floor. It is not loosing any fluid. It had a new clutch put in about 2 years ago and my brother in law said that it acted the same before the new clutch. A budy of mine said he had a similar problem in his F250 and repalced the bushings in the shifter. I looked at mine and really couldnt see where they were worn. My first guess is bad slave cylinder but looking for more opinions before I drop the trany.

Have you tried to bleed your slave cylinder. if its not losing any fluid your slave cylinder is probably fine but it may have gotten air in it when the clutch was swaped. Sometimes even if the it was blead it feels solid but still has air that eventually makes the clutch not fully dis-engage. Atleast thats a problem i had with mine, but as far as i know their is no bushing that would affect that
