Single Din Android Auto (Power Acoustik CP-71W)

I have an 88. The first pic shows it in my truck. It was difficult to get it to lock in. My original dash sleeve was too far inset. There is a slight gap above the body of the radio. The display covers it though.

How is the sound quality when making/receiving phone calls? The last radio my wife had with the built in speaker for hands free, the sound quality was atrocious. She would always have to switch off her bluetooth and hold the phone to her face so people could understand her.

my youngest son said it sounded different when i called him yesterday using the bluetooth over the cp-71w radio. he didn't say he couldn't understand but said it sounded different. when i called my wife later on, she didn't mention anything being different sounding.


since i normally call them and its bluetoothed through my hearing aids, the mic quality is very very good. and the radio might have also been picking up the exhaust sound that you can sligthly hear in the cabin because i have a magnaflow or flowmaster muffler that exits on the passenger side of the truck, right behind the door.

Brittney seems to understand me fine, but that's compared to the phone on speaker laying in the passenger seat. I can hear her ok with it at max volume. Sounds a little distorted. Kinda like underwater.
