My credo
A legend to the old man, a hero to the child...
I had to put wheel bearings in rusty 2.0 yesterday. Now the 97 needs shocks.

I got to thinking though...how much i hate doing these things. There simple, not complicated, but stupid IMO.

My top 3 i hate doing, regardless of vehicle is...

1- Wheel bearings
2- U joints.
3- Brakes (drum or disc)

Whats you guys top hated things to do?

My credo
It was like that when I found it.
I'd probably go with much the same. Maybe switch one out and change the order a bit to:

1. Brakes
2. Wheel bearings (01 Subbie I had was a pain!)
3. And then shocks

As for Dirtman's comment, I'd go with brushing my teeth over bathing...

Dropping the auto trans pan without a lift (flat on ground)
Dirty, messy, no way to do it "cleanly"

I can only do that with 1 of them... dirt bike accident years ago.

I hate any all routine maintenance... I don’t like doing the same thing over and over. I already changed the oil, why should I have to do it again?
