If I bought a new Ranger... that would be the one. I just like the 6 foot bed way better.

I kinda would like to know... Can you get 33's on it? Or will they rub?

Congrats @JohnnyO

Jim has said that 32's will fit fine, like a 265/70-17. 33's will rub the crash bars behind the front bumper. You can get aftermarket crash bars with more clearance but they are not crash tested.

There was a joke in there somewhere...

Thanks. I wanted either bright red or blue. My last three trucks (one Ranger, two Sport Tracs) were all silver and I really didn't want silver or gray again which is what seemingly the color of 90% of the trucks on dealer lots. I figured I'd have to order one but this truck was very close to what I would have ordered anyway. I would have added a limited-slip (of course) and left out the factory bedliner but otherwise I wouldn't have done anything differently. It's a 2020 purchased new at the same dealer in November but turned out not to be big enough and the previous owner traded it in last week on an F-150. It only has 5000 miles on it. I saved a couple thousand dollars.

Question. I can’t find it in the owner’s manual but what is the key switch for on the rear bumper?

It removes the plug so you can drop your spare tire.
Ahh, thanks. I thought maybe it had something to do with towing.
Will have to stop by and show it to you sometime.

Threading the rods through the bumper to the spare tire winch is a real PITA. Even with me knowing it needs to go in at an angle takes some time to hit it right and a flashlight. On a cold and rainy night, a good number of people to express numerous expletives about the setup.

First mod. Shorter radio antenna since the OE was getting the snot beat out of it on the garage door. FM reception seems okay, AM not as good. Don’t know it it affected the phone and Bluetooth or not.

Just raise the opening of your garage door or lower your tires, duh!
