I have a 2004 ranger 4x4 in need of shocks .
I don't plan on keeping the truck for very long ,maybe a year or so .
Any recommendations as to what front shock to purchase .
I'm looking for bang for my buck.
Brand and seller would be helpful .
Thanks everybody.

My credo
I poop in the furnace.
If you're not gonna keep it just throw some el cheapo monroe gas matic LTs on it. They are usually only around $20 each. They aren't the best obviously, but they get the job done.

I would say Monroe or Gabriel since you are just kicking it down the road for the next guy.

Monroe makes a good shock, even the cheap ones. The cheapo Monroe should make it bearable to drive for another year.
