Hey Guys,

I need to replace the upper shock bushing on my left front shock since it's rotted out. I have Bilstein HD replacement shocks, but I can't seem to find any bushing kits that they may sell separately from the shocks. I would imagine they would.

So, first, does anyone know if they do indeed make a separate kit, and secondly, does anybody have the part number somewhere? It would be greatly appreciated as I need to get this fixed sooner rather than later so I don't elongate the upper mount hole.

Are the shock the stud style on top or eye? If it's the stud I'd imagine they'd have them in a bin or something at your local parts store as I think they're all the same...

The local auto parts store might have them, maybe in the help section. If you can, you might want to look into getting polyurethane bushings as they won’t deteriorate like rubber and will outlast the shock.

They are the stud style.

I went to the Help! section and got the Ford replacement bushings, but they were too small the the shock ended up eating through them and now they slide through the upper mount hole.

We have a lot of Dodge 3500 conversion vans come in, and I was noticing that their upper shock mount is quite similar, and uses a similar size bushing that came with the Bilstein shocks.
