Even at the Edison house in Fort Myers, Florida Henry Ford's racism is talked about.

The tour guide said, "Edison taught Ford how to create; Ford taught Edison how to hate."

As for the lack of manual transmissions. Nobody wants to drive one in heavy, urban grid lock for the summer.

The more open the roads, the higher desire for a manual.
