Since I've been look at new vehicles,I thought it might be a good idea to look into rust proofing. Cleveland in the wintertime beats the living crap out of any vehicle.I know of Ziebart ,waxoyl and krown in Canada(not here in the states though)
Waste of money or what?

Don't vote Democrat.
Have (whomever) do the underbody only as it will see the most abuse from the winter weather and it's attendant salt. The truck is made from double-galvanized steel so it's fairly well protected from the elements as long as you don't get an opening in the paint or a seam from an accident.
