The ranger is having some idle issues. Previous owner had issues too. It is the 2.3L 4 cylinder.
He did a tune up on it.
Plugs
plug wires
distributor and rotor cap.
I've changed the air filter which helped alittle. I checked the firing order and it matches the Haynes book. The truck drives fine all day long but soon as you start to idle it feels and sounds like it is choking out and almost dies.
I'm going to try to swap the fuel filter tomorrow.
