not for me
I have a generic roof mount system for my light bar, but I wanted to see where people drilled the holes for the bracket. I don't want to drill a hole just to find out there is a structure behind where I drill. Are there any supports or inner structures in the roof that would get in the way of some riv-nuts? I know where abouts the brackets need to be put just want to make sure before I drill a bunch of holes.

Just me, but I'm not a fan of putting extra holes in mine. But I do see the draw of the light bar. It's extra work, but pulling some interior trim to drop the headliner is well worth it. There are chassis supports under the roof, and they do extend to the corners. Being sure you miss them, or have enough space between them and the roof, is worth the extra effort.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
Best thing is to get the trim and maybe headliner out of the way so you can see for yourself. I had a support in the way when I mounted mine. It was a minor irritation. But I got it done without drilling extra holes.

Keep your mind like an umbrella, it only works if its open... Continually learning.
Do you have a picture of the system you want to mount? Some systems will mount to the door jambs. There are also lots of methods for mounting to the roof and not leak. Depending on where the lights are mounted you may need to add support as well.
