Finally got it on it's own 4 feet today. 2 inch lift, new shocks, all new brakes on all 4 corners, new wheels and tires, new hitch, new running boards, new fuel pump and painted frame. Anti seize was used on everything for the next guy. lol I still need to bleed the brakes and put the bed on this weekend when my son comes over to help. Still need to detail it and fix the gauges. So far I have about 1500 in to it.

1500 is not bad at all considering how high the prices can go on parts. When I first got mine I put about that into it to just to replace all the worn out parts that it had so it is good to see others don't mind dropping a bit of cash to update and replace.

The weight of the bed isn't that bad it's the fact its so large that it take more than one person to get it on and off without damage.

Got the brakes bled, some burned out bulbs replaced and the bed on. I'm going to go up an inch in the front and need to bleed the brakes again and the clutch. Getting closer every day.

That truck appears to have a really nice stance... not sure I would crank the t-bars any further myself.

you can use a cherry picker/engine hoist to remove the bed by yourself. Ive done that as well as used a small chain hoist to lift a bed off and then drive truck out from under it. Once I used the loader on a tractor with forklift forks on it, took off bed & cap as one unit.

Thats the way I usually do it but I needed the bed out of the way so I had to put it outside.

It had a little too much take. I gave them 2 more turns and uts a lot better now.

While it may sit better (more level)... There is only so much suspension drop in the IFS. My guess is you have used pretty much all the drop there was to gain lift.
