judging by the huge coat of fur on this guy I have a suspicion he knows something I don't about the upcoming winter.
that's my back yard feeding area, lots of unwanted rodents show up at night. not all of them make it out alive.

let it get cold, I bought a new parka last year.:icon_thumby:

My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
That's either a really thick coat, or you've been feeding him too much.

yeah, Ive been scrambling to get things done at home before winter hits. last month I hand- dug a 60 ft section of broken clay tile (sewage line, house to tank) and replaced it with pvc. this weekend Ive been under the house, fixing heating pipes that have came apart and seeing what I can do to prepare for winter. when I was underneath the house I found one heat register that I didnt know was there, someone previously put down new flooring and never cut the hole up top for the register. A little measuring and now I have heat in the kitchen. So much about this house has been done half-assed or very poorly. My way of entry underneath was almost impossible, had a opening only 10” to squeeze through. Damn near couldnt do it, Need to go under one more time and not looking forward to it. but better now before it gets cold, cant wear even a jacket to squeeze under there.
