I apologize I must have forgotten to proof read my smartphone again. I am truly lucky to have members like you and the other spelling/grammar police.

Railman and I are getting ready to start a new project soon. Recently one of his company's locomotives derailed and totaled it. We are gonna take the 16 cylinder engine out and do a rear mounted engine in a Reg cab ranger. Plans are to use a stock ranger clutch hooked to a ranger transfercase to it will bolt right up. Since the motor has the torque, we don't need a transmission. It'll be like using a powerglide. After that we are gonna bob the bed. What you think?

SVT- I'll buy you a set of rockwell's for that build if you let me crush EV 1988's "little blye" with it when you get it all built.

Oh, I'll throw in any gear ratio you want, and a full tank of diesel.

EDIT: are you going to JB weld the frame back together when you bob it?

Nope, I'm going to use four 1/4 grade 3 bolts to bolt the frame back together on each side. Jb weld is overkill...

I'd personally use flux core 0.030 to tie the frame together. It's cheap and bends easy. That way, in an accident, you have something to absorb the energy.
