This should all be obvious but...If this is your first 4x4 ever than I suggest you slow down just a bit. Figure out exactly what you want to accomplish with your money, time, truck etc. Do some reading...books, service manuals, tech info, build threads, articles, etc. Google search. If you know someone that builds monster trucks, then he should be able to point you in the right direction. Building a Ford Ranger or any vehicle for that matter with big horsepower and Rockwell axles requires first a well thought out plan for your end goal, fabrication skills, tools and a clear understanding of how to properly set up a suspension system that will properly work for the type of driving you will do and terrain the vehicle will see. Do your own research first and then if there are specific questions you have about your project post up, and people will be much more likely to respond with a productive technical discussion. Just my two pennies.
