Rim size?

I have a general question. We had two or so 2wd rangers that had 14'' rims whereas the 4x4 had 15.'' In 83' when the ranger came out did the 2wd model come with 14'' rims and how long did they make them with 14'' rims?

1999 was the last year to have standard 14" rims on 2WDs.
