I took French in 9th-11th grade. We had to have 2 foreign language credits to graduate. Me and one other 9th grader were the only Freshmen in a class full of 2nd year students. So the next year, we were forced to take French1 again with the "new" students, or move over to Spanish or German. I wanted to be able to impress girls with the "Language of Love", so we both took French for 3 years. Our French teacher was actually French, didn't use deodorant, and was rumored to be in an open marriage at the time. Also she was hot and by the 3rd and final year, I could speak in complete sentences with her. I would often speak to her in French when girls were around to impress them. "Comment allez-vous Madame Cody" " Formidable, et tous?" "Bien" That was enough to get the girls to say, "OOH what did you just say?"
My French teacher's last name was Cooney because her husband's name is/was Irish. She grew up in a bi-lingual house.

Mrs. Cody was also the German & Spanish teacher, lol. She was the only person willing to teach teenagers a foreign language. She had more patience than anybody I ever Knew. She even put up with my crap and never lost it. We had Spanish speaking teachers, but they taught Math and History.

I'm less than a 2 hour drive from Quebec, Spanish wasn't common here.

I didn't ask for your life story, just answer the question!
I’m going to go out on a limb here and say the OP doesn’t give a rats ass about the name of your French teacher. He asked about painting his rims. So... back on topic:
