Howdy all. Recently picked up a 94 3.0. I'm going to put back on the main cat the previous owner had deleted. I believe I only need an EPA one, as this truck does not need to pass any inspection. Hopefully that saves me some $$. I might as well replace the original and very rusty muffler while I'm at it. I'm just trying to figure out what specific gaskets/donuts and hanging hardware I need for this job - as the hardware and donuts on there now are totally shot or rusted beyond use. I can see in the parts search that there are specific gaskets for different junctures (cat to muffler, etc). What about hanging hardware? Is there a kit that has all the piece? Is this stuff pretty universal and found in standard part stores? Or does the hardware typically ship with cat converters and mufflers? Thanks (I'm new to exhaust).

I’ve found that the easiest way to figure out the part numbers and what is needed is to get on Rock Auto. When you pull up the info page for one of the exhaust sections, one of the pictures is a parts break down with all the part numbers.

The second easiest is Tasca and pretty much the best if you want the OEM parts and numbers.
