My 1997 Ranger gave me a P0171 code the other day along with a very rough idle and a hard time starting but it smooths out when I rev the engine to 2000 rpm. I went looking for vacuum leaks and when I was examining the air intake it tore open. They are original to the vehicle judging by the amount of cracking and checking on the ducts. I have checked RockAuto.com and Google and haven't found any replacement ducting. I want to replace both ducts, before and after the silencer. Are these parts sold anywhere or has it been discontinued by 3rd party sellers as well? The only parts I can find is short ram intake off ebay for $80. Is that my best bet? I just need a working truck, not looking for anything fancy.

Here is what my code reader said just in case someone recognizes I am going int he wrong direction.

I figured ducts that I would find in junk yards would probably be in the same same shape as mine, not great.

I did try LMC too, I looked in their catalog and online as well and couldn't find it.

Just Mustang parts, plus their stuff is too nice for my truck. Trying to avoid putting parts on the truck that are worth 25% of the truck itself.

I really don't think you'll have that much trouble finding a decent used one in a junkyard or sourcing it online. It's not really a common failure item even with age.
