Friday morning I replaced all of the front end parts. The truck rides like it is brand new now. (rear shocks also) But I have a question, When tightening the upper arms, at the frame rail tabs, I tighten the hell out of the bolts. The front end was up on jack stands so the whole assy was stretched out as far as the shock would allow hanging down. When done it seems that the truck sits a little higher than before. I do understand part of that because every part of the suspension was shot. Now that I am done and going get a alinement I noticed that if I push down on the hood of the truck it doesn't have much bounce to it and has me wondering if I over tightened the upper arm bolts and it's actually holding the truck up in a elevated position?
