Hey all,

I have a 2003 Ranger Edge extended cab. As you know those back jump sets are pretty small. I was thinking of ditching the drivers 60% bench seat and putting in a bucket seat or a set of buckets in the front. That way I could take out the jump seats and mount the old passenger seat in the middle. Its just me and my wife mainly but we're getting or 8 year old grandson for the summer. Then driving him back 1/2 way cross country to take him home.

Any thoughts or has anyone done something like this?

Thanks H-

Put the bucket seats in and measure an exploder center console to fill the gap in the middle see how much leg room he will have. You might be able to make a mid 90's flip up seat from a different manufacturers car/truck work that will fit that runs the length of the rear portion of the cab. Lots of custom fab though.

I would measure the larger rear seat or the smaller one from an 96-01 exploder see how much room you have.

If you put the bucket seats in and remove the center cup holders you can fit a 65 mustang seat get a early 90's ranger center console and move it forward for an arm rest and storage.
