My driver side wiper broke off inside the cowl, I took off the access door and see where its broken. I do not know how to fix nor get the cowl off so I can have easier access. Can someone help please??

I don't think the cowl is removable. What year is the truck?

You have to remove both access panels, disconect the wiper motor, Remove the big nut from each wiper pivot, remove wiper transmission from truck, install new wiper transmission. Fixed!

it sucks because its just screwed on on F/S trucks but on the rangers they decided to weld it down. I was thinking of swapping the cowl with a newer ranger that had the pinhole cowl instead of the big slots that allow leaves through and inturn blow into the cab... but its not possible without a lot of body work.
