did an engine swap, ended up having to modify the cross over pipe, and then smash the catalytic converter to clear the cross member, all the stuff fell out. bought a aero 2525, it ended up being right below the cab. the exhaust is restriction free, and 2.5 all the way out from the y pipe. im currently only using the 1st catalytic convertor housing because of the wierd y pipe bolt pattern.

this thing is stupid loud. sounds good at idle, but unless i lug it out on a flat its embarrassing to drive. i read that these aero 2525 were supposed to be similiar to a flowmaster super series, without all the drone. i have all of the drone.

im going to try and add 3 feet of 2.5 before the exhaust, and 1 foot after, with a turn down. should put the exit after/at the rear axle.

if this does not work, does any one have any other recomendations?

Do you mean the muffler?

Getting the outlet as far from the cab as possible will help.

Get the exhaust as far out the back as possible. That will make a huge difference.

If it’s atill too loud. Add a resonator after the muffler. (Dynomax race bullet. Glasspack. Magnaflow magnapack) just to name a few
