If I change out the Cylinder Heads on my '02 3.0l engine, cost being a NON-ISSUE (within reason), can I get recommendations on what those heads should be,
My first choice would be NEW Ford units BUT Ford doesn't offer them anymore.
Next would be rebuilt heads... By who? AS I want ALL new parts in them preferably FORD parts ie: Valves,Springs,Keepers, etc
Next would be to have my heads rebuilt, if they are rebuild-able. By who? and again I'd want FORD parts installed.
I understand that there are NEW heads being produced (are they china produced heads?), any idea how they are performing?
Any idea what parts are installed into them?
Next would be, if the NEW heads are "quality, could I get them bare and build them up myself using FORD parts. I'm a retired aircraft mechanic and have mechanical skills. Any big issues assembling a set of these heads up?
Thanks all
