2000 3.0 L AT 4x4 with the famous rearend clunk. Was going to have it replaced at the local garage until they wanted 650.00 for the rearend plus labor. I've done my research and the pricest one I could find was 300.00 at the same parts yard they were using. I would not mind a bit of a markup but, over 100% is rediculious. Am getting an 8.8 to replace the 7.5 3.73 , should I look for a posi or limited slip as they are some of the ones listed on their site. A friend offered to do the work at his place with my help for a lot less, figure I 'll go that route. I know enough to be dangerous any advice would be great... TIA
