Okay, I recently installed a shackle lift on my truck, I have 2.5 inch factory blocks as well as 2 inch shackles, I would imagine my truck should set pretty high, but the rear end is only a single inch higher than the front with maxed out t-bars. I feel as though the leaf springs may be the culprit? The back of my truck has always felt very weak, any sort of trailer load squats the truck, the springs are almost flat when parked. And easily bend when I jack up the rear end, usually bending backwards a little, I feel like that’s a bit excessive. If that’s not normal please let me know, because I plan on installing stiffer springs if possible, and maybe even an additional helper spring, because I can stand in my bumper and make the truck go down an inch or 2

A 2" longer shackle will only lift the truck about 1". It does sound like your springs are sprung. Adding a leaf into the pack should help. But it might be time effective to buy a spring pack already done. Depends on how much work you're comfortable doing.

It sure sounds like your springs are sprung. I would probably just put in a fresh set and go for the 1750lbs spring packs. It will ride rougher but they will hold a load better.

I have the same issue. I put shackle and keys on my 08 and it seemed like the shackles didnt do anything.

Well they where suppose to be 2 inch lift shackles, 4 inches all together, which they did raise it 2 inches, but between the springs, the 2.5 inch blocks and the shackles, there’s 7 inches between the top of the tire and the fender, and 6 in the front with maxed out factory keys, I feel like the back should definitely be taller

I messed up and didn't do any measuring before the lift but afterward, I have 36 inches from ground (in all 4 corners) to fender with 245\75R16 I believe it's like a 29-inch tall tire. So between 6 and 7 inches of space between tire and fender, if my maths is correct.

That size is like, 30.5, and I have 31s, so if your springs sag a little more than mine then you’re about the same spot I am, when I did the shackles I went from 5 inches to 7 inches, but still, I feel like it should be more, but I also have factory lift blocks and if you don’t then you’re about where you should be

If your springs are arching down, they are worn out and need replaced. They should be no more than flat at max load.

If you want to go the low budget route Explorer leaf springs would do the trick, just don't get springs from one with rear air shocks, I'm pretty sure they used the soft Ranger springs and used the shocks to level it out... The only thing you'd need to do is flip the center bolt since sploders are spring under...
