The flange on my 7.5 rear end is wobbly. I've noticed a vibration from the driveshaft at highway speeds. So i crawled under the truck and found I could wiggle the flange that comes off the rear end up and down. What can I do to fix this problem? The truck drives fine, it's only when I'm slightly on the gas I get a vibration. Any ideas? :dunno:

Yup, you've got loose pinion bearings.

crap...what can I do to remedy this? I recently had gears installed (about Sept. 08') Do I need new bearings? Or would I be able to tighten the pinion nut? Any input would be appreciated, thanks!

Sounds like somebody reused the old pinion nut without putting Loctite on it.

I'd take it back to whoever did the gears and hope there's no damage inside there.
