To each his own.
I am in need of a new OEM Edge style rear bumper, the black one with the black vinyl pad that works with a receiver hitch installed also. Any clues ? I have found several but they are all the mounting type for an Edge without a receiver hitch and mount where the receiver hitch mounts. I know they make them cause lots of Edge Rangers came with receiver hitch installed.

ANY CLUES ???

TIA

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
Are you sure the receiver doesn't just mount up using the bumper bolts in their original holes? I've seen a lot that mount that way. Same bumper with or without receiver hitch installed.

I've never dealt with a ranger edge. So i dont know for sure. Just wondering if maybe you're overcomplicating it slightly.

That's what I thought it should do, but no, the way the receiver hitch brackets and bumper brackets are, won't work.

Bummer. Leave it to the manufacturer to make things more complicated.
