Out of curiousity, when you hit a hill or pull a load can you ease into the power with the supercharger or does it hit all at once?

The reason I ask is my IHI is like a switch, any load on the engine, hill, etc and it wants to go full bore. I would like something that I can ease into more while hitting hills on the hwy ect. If I only need 1-2 psi then I get that and not 8-10.
It all depends on how much of my foot I put into the throttle and where I am in the rpm range. It doesn't go into boost "off throttle" because of the bypass valve. This makes the truck very docile until I put my foot into it.

However, when I DO put my foot into it, the engine climbs into boost quickly and impressively. This morning, one of those fart-can equipped import drivers tried to follow me up the long hill home. I happened to be tuning the advance table with my eldest son, and that guy who'd been hugging my bumper on the flats soon vanished from the rear-view mirror.

:D

Also what pulley size did you end up with and what boost does it get you? If I remember right you and Dave calculated that the stock supercharger pulley would have netted you around 15 psi, is that right?
Heavens, no! I can't recall the size exactly, but I think my pulley is about 4.25 inches in diameter. With the bigger intake tubing, I'm maxing out at 4 psi right now.

Are you still getting good mpg with it and are you runing EGR?
This truck has NEVER been good on fuel. Prior to the blower installation, I used to get 10km / liter. Now it's usually around 9 km / liter--or a bit less if I've been driving aggressively.

Yes, I'm running EGR. I have to go through an emissions test every other year.
