re-gearing??(tires)

ok i have a 97 ranger super cab2.3l ,and i have 31in tires right now and my truck is not regeared,my question is i want to switch to 33's or perhaps 35's would i have to regear with the 33's?the 35's is a given and i know i have to,but would i with the 33's if so can i go a while them without gearing???

with a 2.3, 5.13's would probably go awesome with 35's. If not, at least 4.56's or 4.88's...

it depends on your stock gearing. I don't think with a 2.3 I'd want to run anything less than 4.10's with 33's...

Do you know what your current ratio is?

Technically, you don't have to re-gear, no matter what tire size you go to. But, if you don't you would probably have to measure your 1/4 mile times with a sun-dial.

I'd have to agree with parkinglot, 4.10's at a minimum, 4.56 prefered.
